Summertime

Hello!

Hope everyone is having a GREAT Summer. It's August now and where has the time gone??? I just returned from a quick vacation and now my working hat is firmly back on.

I've had so many hopes for the last year regarding this site, most of them have been shelved due to scheduling [AKA Vancouver 2010 Winter Olympics, night school, assignments, etc...] and a shift in creative energy. But, now it's time to move on to other things…

No. 1:
My mixed media artstuff from paperWERXings Mixed Media Collage is going to be merged and included here on my main, but severely neglected website [something that will be addressed in the next week].

I’ve actually been waiting for the paperWERXings domain/hosting to expire so that I can rationalize the move of all my artstuff to LazarStudioWERX from the paperWERXings site… well, the time is coming and it's coming soon! I will be starting to move all my artwork content from the other site and it's going to be a big job, which is why I’ve been putting off updating this site and have procrastinated about it for so long. However, starting this week I will be transferring all art related media, gallery and anything else mixed media art related, here. Permanently. The other site will go down hosting wise in September, but the domain will remain with me.

No. 2:
Many of you know that I'm an avid photographer and that being said, I will continue to develop and maintain the filmWERX Studio site since photography is becoming a more pivotal part of my visual art. I will continue to update and develop both that blog and site into the future.

No. 3:
You will also notice that the Lazar StudioWERX Retail site is no longer accessible from this main site. I still have the files available and may consider selling them again, in a different manner. The most likely source for retail will be through ETSY.

So, in a nutshell…

  • back from Vegas with great shoes, a bit of a tan and a few less $$
  • will be moving all art related stuff permanently to Lazar StudioWERX
  • will continue with filmWERX Studio
  • have a lot of work on my plate for the next few weeks!
