Whew! Time to take a breath and breathe deeply as 5 days of Circle Craft is left in the dust…
I didn’t think it (CC 2005) would ever come and when it did… didn’t think it would ever end! Prepping took it’s toll with late late late nights and mad panicing about having enough product. Then set-up over two days and tear down in 2 hours! It was a busy busy week filled with art, shopping, friends and fans (you know who you are!!!) and more shopping.
It was great connecting with fellow stampers and even better getting NEW people excited about stamping. I firmly believe that EVERYONE is creative and that stamping is the perfect outlet for those who feel restricted artistically because they "can’t draw or paint". We’ve already done all the hard work for burgeoning artists in creating unique artistic stamps and papers… all newbie stampers need is the encouragement and instruction to get started =)
Here is a pic taken with my art buddies from ARTwerx and the ’stamping world’.
You two always brighten our long, demo-filled days at Circle Craft and we (DH Terry and I) appreciate the fudge! Corrine (on left) the MUD PIE fudge looks wicked and Nancy the MOCHA JAVA fudge was a tasty treat this evening. Thanks girls…
And Lisa and Donna… thank you for the sustanance as well! We did trade the Banana Split fudge for SKOR BAR fudge and the nuts are almost gone =) Thank you… and we’ll hold your shopping bags anytime - for food of course!
And we can’t forget Sue… our dear friend and devoted ‘minion’ for her excellent cash register skills and deft way of getting out of the demoing. Hmm… she has yet to pick up a rubberstamp with the intention of using it for art. Usually it’s in hand to hurl at either me or Terry, whoever is harassing her the most LOL!
We truly appreciate your time and energy, and value the time we get for ‘hanging-out’ at CC. Having you in the booth is always an event highlight for us… but this year, we know YOUR highlight was the OTHER CC <Chelios> getting in that cab in front of the Pan Pacific =)
So publicly and once again… Thanks girl! We couldn’t do it without you, and it would seem wrong to even consider it a Circle Craft event if you’re not there. Hugs and love from us, C and T.
