Well folks… I’ve ‘just’ about finished my shopping [a few small things to pick up today, groceries donw but liquor store is still on my hit list!] then the big clean and dinner tomorrow evening, and on to more food and prezzies on sunday. what a food filled, gift giving weekend this will be!

we’re doing our annual Lazar traditional Christmas Eve feast and gift opening tomorrow at our house for the first time [in this house anyways!]. according to hungarian tradition [my ancestry] the angel comes with gifts for all the good children and we feast on traditional christmas fare including cabbage rolls [my mom is the QUEEN in this department let me tell you - mmmmm GOOD!], chicken paprika and dumplings, then dessert and a leisurely opening of gifts from family around the tree and fireplace.

sunday, christmas day, is traditionally done with my hubby’s parents. we usually go over in the late morning for gift exchange and then huge turkey feast for dinner. this year there will be 20 [yes I said 20!! Barb - mom in-law - is certifiable! all that cooking, food and lack of space will make this year extra cozy!] so space will be tight tight tight. thank go we all like and love each other LOL!

anyways… while rooting through some old treasures I stumbled upon some long forgotten photos of me at christmas. thought i would share them since they were at a time when my father was still alive and i was blissfully content with all things in the world - after all, i was only 4 in the photo and back in the 70’s at the age of 4 there wasn’t a whole lot of stress!! enjoy…

Hey all… unfortunately due to a death in the family, we’ve had to go out of town for a funeral, so I’ve not been able to upload the files for the CHA Sneak Peek to our website.
We’re going to be travelling through a snowy BC Interior where temps are -10C (12F!!!) so we’ll be out of touch for a few days with travel/driving. Keeo your fingers crossed we don’t encounter SNOW at 1400ft!

The sneak peek will be up later next week… think of it as a cool Christmas present =)
