It’s been awhile since I’ve posted, so here goes =)

Our home has been a HOT ZONE for germs and viruses over the last two weeks! Between hubby and I gasping for air through our stuffed noses and sore throats [making hubby snore throughout the entire night - ugh!] and respiratory viruses floating through our collective offices - it’s been a looooooooong, sick two weeks. Throw into that mix the monkey wrench of hayfever [damn, I HATE those frigging alder trees!!] and it makes for one tired, sniffly and generally pooped out artist/business woman.

All seems to be improving at home on the germ front in the last few days, and since yesterday we’ve both felt remarkably better. What is still suffering is a backlog of rubberstamp orders, because we couldn’t get out into the cold workshop to press stamps for two weeks. So if your order is in the backlogged pile, please be patient, we will be working on them this weekend and into next week!

On the brightside… I’ve been doing some serious ‘net surfing [since sleeping next to the snorting, snoring, snuffily hubby-bear has kept me awake on more than a few nights during this germ infestation!] and have found some truly hilarious videos that beg to be shared… are you ready?

Now just plain, outright laugh your ass off funny… Who’s Line is it Anyway with Richard Simmons. Break out the Depends undergarments for this one - or a maxi pad at the very least!

Finally… going on a day-trip to the La Conner Tulip Festival on Sunday (since it looks like 90% chance of RAIN tomorrow!) to shoot photographs for an upcoming project. There are literally acres and acres of tulip and daffodil fields in bloom right now! it looks like a view right out of Holland - gorgeous and full of color, can’t wait! For the last few years we’ve either missed it due to illness (hmmmm sounds familiar) or scheduling conflicts; however this year we ARE going and will be there at some point this weekend. Then to round out a day trip like this, some RETAIL THERAPY at the nearby Premium Outlet in Tulalip Washington. I’m looking forward to a Sketcher shoe buying spree and hubby is chomping at the bit for a Banana Republic sale.
