I finally got a chance to spray paint this afternoon and worked on my Stencilry class assignment from last week. I have to say the classes are great and regarding spray paint… I LOVE IT! I’d had the weather working against me all last week making any kind of spray painting artwork impossible. This weekend however, the wind died down significantly and while there was still a bit of a breeze, it was nothing like the brisk wind we’d experienced for 6 out of the last 7 days!
So. Here I am, ready to post some examples of the work I’ve created thus far with spray paint… But before I forget, there are additional shots of the sprayed work in my Flickr site. Click here to see =)
PS: The supplies used in all the images below include the following:
- acid-free chipboard 20pt weight found at CLEAR BAGS in ‘Super Black‘ and 4-ply White
- using Krylon Blue Ocean Breeze, Totally Tangerine, Satin Hyacinth, Tuscan Sunset, Jet Black and Pure White
- hand-cut stencils by Me [see previous day's post]
- die-cut Anna Griffin 12×12 paper [as stencil]
- punchinella from Dollar Store
- cheap Dollar Store lace table runners and doilies
- paper baking doilies

look at all of those lovely colors of paint you got! i really like what you’re doing with all of the different kinds of stencils. gorgeous work! i checked out your portfolio too……mmmmmmmm dreamy and so beautiful.
Thank you Mary Ann… I’m trying to get grungey and urban graffiti-ish but I invariably graviate back to ‘pretty’. Sometimes it’s a dark pretty, but usually – pretty LOL!
