H & M – a new favorite in my quest for new Fall fashion…

I am starting to really love H & M clothing. I only wish that there was one in my ‘burb instead of me having to travel into Vancouver for a fix LOL! I got the cutest sweater dress there a few weeks ago and now I’m hooked.

The clothes are well made [for the price] and fashion forward without screaming I’m only good for one season. The only downside is that the ‘cut’ of the clothes tend to fit on the smallish size so even though I’m a 6-petite now, I have to get an 8. But that makes sense if you think about it… H & M is geared towards the ‘junior’ fashion crowd and as such they don’t seem to account for hips and boobs in some of their clothing. Or at least not very big hips and boobs… I may be a lot smaller than I was a few months ago, but I still have T & A to consider LOL!

Here is my latest look obsession… Denim with an ankle boot, grey cardi and tunic top. Love it. It’s great for work and casual days! Ahhhh… Fall, it’s my favorite season in fashion. Lots of thin layers, great colours and cozy knits. The great thing is that in Vancouver, we usually don’t have to worry about dressing too much heavier than ‘fall’ in winter. Lots of rain yes, but it’s usually not too cold [if you block out our 2008/2009 Winter and forget about the 3' of snow we got!] so Fall clothes usually can go the distance throughout the season until we hit Spring.

It’s been fun having to buy an entirely new wardrobe since I lost at that weight… but it’s becoming entirely too expensive LOL!
