Hello all… All of my new pieces are [...] Skagit Tulip Festival-14 Originally uploaded by studiowerx We had a super fun day yesterday at the Skagit Valley Tulip Festival in La Conner Washington. My friend Yvonne and I drove down for the day to La Conner and spent 3 hours shooting tulip fields in full bloom. There were acres and acres of flowers to shoot and while [...] to LaConner Washington for the day. It’s tulip festival and they are out and BLOOMING! I’m just waiting for a friend to arrive then we are out the door. I’ll post shots from the trip down this weekend… in the meantime… how do you like my new glasses? I’ve bought 3 pairs in the last month from [...] Nitobe-10 Originally uploaded by studiowerx Shot yesterday in the beautiful spring sunshine… Have lived in Vancouver my entire life and have never experienced the tranquil, lush beauty that is Nitobe Japanese Gardens. They are truly wonderful and a place of great reflection – both IN and out of the water LOL! I will be back again soon. For [...] Yesterday, while the weather was nice and clear, I headed out for a quick shoot in Steveston. This time I went to Britannia Heritage Shipyards. It’s great to work for the City sometimes, because I can get access to areas that are often closed to the public or under heavy supervision. The back deck of Britannia [...] I spent about an hour or so shooting West Coast Amusements Carnival last night… The weather was cooperative and was threatening rain tonight, so I dashed out at about 7:30pm last night for the quick shoot. I have to say that night time shooting is ranking waaaaaay up there with my enjoyment of photography. Yeah, it’s challenging. Hey gang… All pieces at the Velvet Room Boutique will be 25% off the original listed price, with dates adn duration of the the trunk show are being confirmed this week by Saturday March 13, 2010. Check [...] We just finished the opening ceremonies and I have to say that I am TOTALLY PROUD and thrilled with the show. Lots of Canadian content, showcased with unique and really effective visual displays. Great musical acts, loved the Donald Sutherland voice over [he's our Canadian answer to Morgan Freeman LOL!] and the lighting of the [...] I just got my new 27″ iMac on Friday last week. Have spent the better part of the weekend uploading software, transitioning files and checking out the fun that is an iMac! My favorite fun thing on my new 27″ baby is the photobooth. TOO MUCH FUN! It’s a great way for me to take a [...] Spent some time with a co-worker and friend’s family in Steveston taking family shots yesterday. GREAT weather… a little cold, but sunny and bright. Makes for challenging lighting conditions, but overall I think the shots of the kiddies turned out fun… for more photos click here…
