I just got my new 27″ iMac on Friday last week. Have spent the better part of the weekend uploading software, transitioning files and checking out the fun that is an iMac! It’s a great way for me to take a [...] Spent some time with a co-worker and friend’s family in Steveston taking family shots yesterday. GREAT weather… a little cold, but sunny and bright. Got ‘dragged’ to a concert by co-worker/friend Kathy and saw 3 great acts: Carolina Liar [good but too LOUD!], One Republic [amazingness!] and Rob Thomas [2 hour set! what more could you ask for?] Here is video from One Republic covering Tears for Fears SHOUT! with Carolina Liar as back-up: One Republic [SHOUT!] at Vancouver from Christina [...] Had my first Landscape Photography ‘field trip’ this past Saturday and the weather was perfecto! We went trail hiking through one of Vancouver’s environmental treasures – Pacific Spirit Park on the UBC Endowment Lands. Acres upon acres of lush forest in the middle of the City… It’s truly breathtaking. BUT, challenging for photography due to the [...] I’m just packing up the truck and will be heading off to Portobello West for the day. This great Fashion+Art market is a fantastic place to find trend-setting fashion, incredible hand-made jewelry and to purchase one of a kind [or limited edition] art works [including ME!] from Vancouver artisans and happens the LAST SUNDAY of every [...] |
